58Rising: The Canadian Music Duo with a 70's Sound

Live on July 1

See Me is an emotional soft rock anthem about longing for genuine connection in a world that often looks past the person beneath the surface. It speaks to anyone who has ever felt invisible, misunderstood, overlooked, or defined by expectations rather than their true self.

The song explores the vulnerability of letting down your guard and asking another person to see your hopes, fears, scars, dreams, and heart. At its core, See Me is about acceptance—the powerful moment when someone recognizes who you really are and chooses to stay.

With heartfelt lyrics, soaring melodies, and the signature warmth of 58Rising, See Me reminds listeners that one of life's deepest needs is not simply to be noticed, but to be understood.

Easy (Violet's Song) is Live!

Easy (Violet's Song) is a deeply personal soft rock ballad inspired by the real-life journey of opening a heart and home to a child who needed a family. Written from the perspective of unconditional love, the song reflects the moment when fear, uncertainty, and life's complications fade away because of the simple, powerful bond between a child and the people who choose to love them.

Inspired by 58Rising's granddaughter Violet, the song celebrates kinship, adoption, second chances, and the unexpected ways love finds us. Its message reaches beyond one family, speaking to parents, grandparents, adoptive families, caregivers, and anyone who has experienced the life-changing gift of belonging.

With heartfelt lyrics and warm melodies, Easy (Violet's Song) reminds us that sometimes the most important decisions in life aren't complicated at all—they're easy when they're made with love.

About 58Rising

Our Story

58rising is a husband-and-wife musical duo Lisette Amalfi and Steven Eydt based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, whose journey into music began not in youth—but at 58 years young.

With a sound deeply influenced by the 1970s and a vocal presence reminiscent of Stevie Nicks, 58rising creates music that is emotional, authentic, and grounded in real life. Their songs reflect decades of lived experience—love that has endured, family that has grown in unexpected ways, and the universal desire to be seen and understood.

The story of 58rising begins with Steve, who, after years of being unable to play guitar due to carpal tunnel syndrome, underwent surgery that changed everything. At age 50, free from pain, he committed himself to learning guitar with focus and purpose. Inspired by Lisette’s natural voice, he encouraged her to take vocal lessons and join him on a shared creative path.

What started as encouragement became collaboration—and ultimately, 58rising.

Their debut single, Electric Lightning (May 9), explores the enduring nature of desire and connection, challenging the idea that passion fades with age. This is followed by Easy (Violet’s Song) (May 29), a deeply personal tribute to their granddaughter whom they began raising as their own child, and See Me (July 1, 2026) a song about longing to be recognized and loved in return.

58rising is not just making music—they are telling their story. One built on resilience, partnership, and the belief that it’s never too late to begin.

Proof that passion doesn’t age.
